Valentines Day

Remembering sweet times and wonderful surprises on this day. Thinking of the people I love and sending them loving thoughts. So different than many years ago having expectations of what might happen and then getting myself all disappointed that it didn't happen!
Love is a good thing to concentrate on. I cherish my friendships from grade school and high school. I cherish friends I made in my work days. People I looked forward to seeing and who lit up a room when they walked in. It is an overflowing cup, thinking about the many bright spots in my day as I encountered colleagues and clients who made me smile just thinking about them.
I have a support group I attend every day online. These folks "prop each other up" as one of our dear departed friend used to say, when one is down, the others are there from them.
If I have someone to love, something to do, and something to look forward to, then I am good. Been blessed with five amazing adult children, fifteen amazing grandkids and all their loved ones, and literally over one hundred people I love as friends, so no complaining here. If you are thinking of someone today, let them know. They will be thrilled! Us agers appreciate things way more than we used to!
