When in Doubt, Breathe

The therapeutic benefits of stopping when anxious and taking a deep breath are amazing.



I use the Calm app which is sometimes given to members of an insurance company. My favorite is Jeff Warren a meditator who matter-of-factly guides us for a few minutes to check in with ourselves and enjoy the breaths we take while letting go of the outside world. In meditation we can let everything be and notice how we relax our neck and shoulders and breathe out tension. This amazing habit of taking time out for breathing is one I don't want to give up soon.
